Heart in the Moon

  • Mood:
  • Music: Beck
  • Book: Escape weather...
  • Weather: Love movies!

And next Wednesday, I saw "Woman in the Moon", from 1929, the first science fiction movie (as they presented us, but what about the first android from "Metropolis", 1925, also from Fritz Lang?). Anyway, is the first one which shows a moon trip, with all the explanations and facts discovered by that time.

It's amazing how they show no gravity, with all the actors hanging around! And now we can notice the miniature of the launching, but from some angles it looks well done.

And of course there's Willy Fridstch, sad and suffering in this movie, but his gardening lesson meanwhile phone talking is unforgetable!

I must also remember all the members of this trip, such as the mad scientist and his faithfull Josephine , the chamaleonic spy and villain (who was VERY brave durin the trip) and the dreamer boy , an expert about moon literacy (really a comic reader! ). Hans is pointless. Ups! And I almost forgot the Woman in the moon , the one who makes Willy suffer!
